He started out so well - "You yourself have done this plenty of times, spoken words that clarify, encouraged those who were about to quit. 4 Your words have put stumbling people on their feet, put fresh hope in people about to collapse." If Eliphaz had only done the same for Job, it could have been helpful!<br /><br />Do you suppose Eliphaz was trying to find a reason for Job's suffering - "You must have done something wrong, or God wouldn't let you suffer so"? Sometimes we get so involved in trying to figure out why something has happened instead of trying to figure out how to serve God in the midst of it.Sharlanoreply@blogger.com
